  • Sheep Eyes, The Smell.

    Bands are at their best when they, like athletes, behave as though each performance is their last. There are a bunch of bands in the LA area that are abiding by this ethos. Sheep Eyes is one of them and I’m not just saying that because we’re friends.

    The cool thing about live music is that it actually makes you feel things. Even bands that suck can provoke an emotional response. It provokes ritual, movement, and release simultaneously.
